Our school, Antigua Green School, is where we are creating and planning our Tedx event. Antigua Green School is a place that was created with the idea of making a better world for the future. It implements a lot of ideas in areas that are made up of recycling. In that way, we’re thinking about the future, and how we have to keep it as alive as possible, helping to make it cleaner.

 

The methods we use for learning are Cambridge and Montessori. For Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary areas, the Montessori methods are used so the kids can have a more visual way of understanding, which is clearer for most of them. Middle School students are provided with English, Science, and Math Cambridge coursebooks, so they are getting involved with higher levels of education with more advanced topics.

 

Our school is not only pro recycling and trying to make this world a better place, it is also situated on a finca! Finca La Azotea is where the school is located, and where our Ted event will happen! It was founded in 1883, when it started as a little family business.
